IMPORTANT NOTICE TO OVERSTAYING REGIONAL STUDENTS

  • The Ministry of Immigration would like to advise regional students who may have overstayed their current permit to wait for PI Uplift approval before lodging their student permit applications.
  • You are required to await the decision on your PI Uplift application before lodging the student permit application online.
  • Prior lodgment of a student permit application while overstaying can result in REFUSAL of the application.

Passport Services Update

The Ministry of Immigration wishes to inform the public that 30,000 passport books have landed and received at the Immigration Office in Suva. This batch is part of the 100,000 books that is being printed by our supplier in Germany. The remaining 70,000 will arrive in Fiji over the next few months. The process of ordering another 100,000 has commenced.
